The AVMFlex5W-LP2S is an audio/video monitor providing the capability to monitor CVBS video on an LCD display with full-fidelity stereo analog audio monitoring in the smallest rack space possible (1U).

The unit features a video display module mounted to the front panel via flexible gooseneck tubing allowing for extensive control of the viewing angle independent of the fixed position of the front panel.

The video display module features a wide-format 5.8" LCD (16:9 aspect ratio) and controls for color, tint/hue (NTSC only), contrast, and brightness as well as a dedicated power LED and bi-color (red/green) tally indication LED.

The LCD automatically detects and displays NTSC or PAL digital video formats.

The rear panel features two balanced analog inputs on female XLR connectors and two CVBS video inputs with loop-through outputs on BNC connectors.

The audio and video inputs are relayed so that selecting either the A or B video source on the VPOD video display module will also select the associated A or B audio source.

A pair of balanced XLR connectors output the selected audio source for connection to downstream equipment.

The audio amplifier section features five high performance transducers driven by three power amplifiers: two amplifier/driver combinations handle midrange and high frequency information in stereo (left and right speakers), while the third center channel reproduces information below the 500 Hz crossover point (woofer speaker).

Output limiter circuits are incorporated to protect the speakers, and extensive magnetic shielding allows placement immediately adjacent to magnetically sensitive equipment, such as video monitors.

The unit front panel also features two 10-segment LED bargraph level meters, Wohler's' proprietary three-LED stereo phase indication feature, volume control, balance pot, power indication LED, and stereo headphone output. A DB-25 connector is provided for tally connections.
